Take a lunck break for your business and learn how to create and execute an ADA Barrier Removal Plan!

David Fenley, ADA Director of the Minnesota Council on Disability will share the following information:

ADA Readily Achievable Barrier Removal

  • Provide access to your business from public sidewalks, parking areas and public transportation
  • Provide access to the goods and services your business offers
  • Provide access to public restrooms
  • Remove barriers to all amenities offered to the public, such as drinking fountains

Create and Execute an ADA Barrier Removal Plan

  • Idcentify and prioritize barriers
  • Establish a reasonable timeline
  • Secure cost estimates
  • Keep records of removed barriers and their cost
  • Receive tax credits and deductions
