This course will offer an opportunity to begin to understand mindfulness as a way to approach living with daily stresses, living with anxiety and/or depression, loss or chronic pain. There is a wealth of research proving mindfulness to be a lifestyle with less suffering and more happiness. Mindfulness meditation will be introduced and practiced along with poetry and body movement. Discussion will be facilitated to make sense of the teachings. Persons attending this two session course will leave with suggestions on how to begin introducing mindfulness skills into their lives. **************
