Fred L. Johnson, a Red Wing native and author of the only book written about the Sea Wing disaster, will speak about the 1890 event, with emphasis on the Lake City aspects of the tragedy. Co-sponsoring the lecture are the Lake City Historical Society, Wabasha County Historical Society, Lake City Friends of the Library, and the Woman's Club of Lake City.
