DESCRIPTION:The 4th annual Walking Lake Pepin heatlh and wellness walking challenge starts Sunday June 5th\, 2011.  This years theme\, "Active Living 2011" \, was chosen to celebrate the benefits of an active lifestyle.  It was also chosen to highlight the wonderful environment that Lake City offers for "Active Living"\;  the Riverwalk\, Hok-si- la Park\, safe neighborhoods and sidewalks.  Anyone can sign on to the challenge.  It's FREE. Walkers are asked to make a committment when they sign up to walk 150 minutes a week for 10 weeks ending Saturday\, August 13th.  Sign up locations are at Hope's Harvest  and Treats and Treasures on Washington Street or online at www.walkinglakepepin\,com .  Prize drawing for those who meet their challenge at the finale event on Thursday August 18th. Check out the website or Facebook for more details.
